MANAGING PARTNER
Yvonne has 16+ years experience in advertising sales, marketing, merchandising, public relations, websites and circulation in the publishing industry, in addition to integrated and Internet marketing experience. Prior to the Matador Creative partnership, she had been with American Airlines for nine years, starting as the marketing communications manager for all American Airlines Publishing products such as American Way, Southwest Airlines Spirit, ON American Airlines, AA Nexos and Celebrated Living magazines. Yvonne was senior marketing analyst for content and personalization for AA.com, where she managed an editorial team of seven in addition to TM Advertising. Her team managed the editorial marketing promotions for AAirmail, Net SAAver and special one-off emails to millions of subscribers weekly. She was on the management team in
charge of developing the seven International multilingual websites for AA.com. As the marketing director for Travelocity Magazine, the magazine of Travelocity.com, she managed every aspect of marketing from events to circulation and cooperative promotions with the website and television travel show. In addition, she was marketing manager for Polo Magazine, a magazine about the sport and lifestyle of polo. Yvonne worked for Texas Monthly magazine for five years in the advertising and marketing departments, respectively. While at Texas Monthly, she was the special project coordinator for the company's 25th Anniversary, which included a nationwide traveling photography exhibit and coffee-table book. She holds a BA in Communications from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.

Brian brings 16+ years of experience as a copywriter and editor to the Matador Creative partnership. Prior to this partnership, he owned his own editorial consulting service, providing content for a variety of media. At American Airlines Publishing, he currently acts as the managing editor of Hilton Moments; cent$, the award-winning newsletter of the American Airlines Federal Credit Union; IN: Mind Body, the official publication of Medical City; and several internal corporate publications. He also has acted as the lead copywriter and editor for multiple magazine advertorial promotions, including The New Yorker, Gourmet, Conde Nast Traveler, and
Architectural Digest. In addition, he previously worked with American Airlines Vacations crafting the travel and brand strategy messages for the group in all of their marketing collateral and associated publications. Previous experience included acting as a copywriter and proofer for Liquid Graphix design studio in the production of various retail marketing materials, and as Copy Director for leading trading card/collectibles companies Pinnacle and Donruss/Playoff, in addition to a public relations position with Austin Aqua Festival. Brian has a BA in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
