Process

1. PROBLEM

Our clients are looking for us to solve a problem of communication for them. Whether the problem solving involves the development of a visual identity based on the integral needs and wants of their business, or putting a distinctive, impactful spin on existing creative, our task is to work through the clutter and unfold a plan of communication to get their message out to their target audience. Identifying that challenge and the means to create an effective solution is the first step in our client process.

3. CREATIVE ASSESSMENT

Armed with the necessary research, our next step is to deliver a creative assessment that provides recommendations for leveraging your company's strong points while addressing its inherent weaknesses. The assessment restates your improvement goals, provides observations on the current strengths and weaknesses of the project, identifies recommendations and includes a plan to help you achieve your goals as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.

5. CONCEPT

Our clients are looking for us to solve a problem of communication for them. Whether the problem solving involves the development of a visual identity based on their integral needs and wants, or putting a distinctive spin on existing creative, our task is to work through the clutter and unfold a plan of communication to get their message out to their target audience. Identifying that challenge and the means to create an effective solution is the first step in our client process.

7. PRESENTATION

Now that a final design has been crafted, we have the opportunity to present our hard work to the client and speak about what we have done. We explain the overall concept and the reasoning behind particular decisions and actions, underscore key points and reinforce our business partnership. The final step is to listen closely to the client's impressions, answering any questions that arise and moving toward final approval of the design.

2. RESEARCH

Once the problem has been identified, the crucial task of conducting research and assessing the dynamics and challenges involved in the existing problem must begin. Gathering relevant information on the company and its competitors through personal client interaction, perception of others from outside the company, and marketplace evaluation helps develop a clearer picture of the client's benefits, weaknesses and overall approach. At the end of this stage, the issues involved in creating the problem should be distinct and apparent.

4. CREATIVE BRIEF

To fully understand the client's needs, we will create a design brief spelling out all the relevant information about the project. Included in this documentation is a brief historical passage about the company, product or service; the benefits that we wish to highlight (tradition, modernity, quality, low prices, etc); a stated understanding of the target audience and assumptions on how to reach them; and direct recommendations/specifications on design elements (colors, shapes, etc) that will shape the concept.

6. DEVELOPMENT

This stage incorporates the preparation and planning introduced during each previous strategy phase of the creative process to help us produce a unique, effective piece of visual communication. Included in this development are all the necessary aspects of design, imagery, content, functionality and architecture, along with equal amounts of artistry and inspiration. Our planning and documentation throughout the process will help expedite the graphical translation of the central concept.

8. FINAL ANALYSIS

Following the client's feedback and response to the design presentation, we make every effort to identify and plan for unforeseen circumstances prior to launch. Necessary modifications and edits to the overall look and feel, copy or interactive elements are implemented before determining that all the client's stated goals are accomplished and garnering final project approval.
